The CRR would like to congratulate our Associate Director Dr. Tom Hei on being awarded the Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) Honors Causa from Amity University.

An excerpt from Amity University honoree ceremony:

Dr. Tom Hei is an eminent and recognized luminary of medical sciences who has distinguished himself with a relentless urge to contribute to the health and well being of humanity. Dr. Hei is a world renowned scholar and scientist and has an awe inspiring reputation in the areas of radiological sciences and environmental carcinogenesis. He has a number of very prestigious academic appointments in several countries such as the USA, China and Japan. He is also a revered teacher, mentor and guide to an impressive number of postdoctoral fellows, doctoral students, physician residents, undergraduate interns and medical students. For this and his research he has received a number of awards including the Roentgen Lectureship, Educator of the Year Award and the Distinguished Alumni Award from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

It is with utmost respect, that Amity University confers the Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) Honoris Causa, upon Prof. (Dr.) Tom Hei.
